Hi I downloaded SC again over my old copy in an attempt to have 2 different rithmic feeds on 2 instances of sierra chart and it seems to have made it so my charts never load now. Can you please advise on how to fix this? I customized my charts etc and can take those files out of the data folder and delete and reinstall but is there an easier way?

We are not understanding the situation. When you do an update, Your Chartbooks are not affected. Even if you are using the "ExampleChartbook" that we include with the installation, this will not be overwritten if it is already present. The one caveat to this is that if you were updating from a very old version to the current version, then it is possible that your chartbooks would not open in the new version. But this should not be occurring as those older versions are no longer allowed to be used. Still, if you are getting something along these lines, then refer to the following: Chartbooks (Workspaces): Opening Older Chartbooks So we are not sure exactly what state you are in. You should not have to reinstall anything. Please give us more information on exactly what is occurring so we can help you move forward. I downloaded over the current version the same version and since then the graphs never stopped loading in and out. Heres a video attached for an example.

This is due to an issue with Rithmic. It is strictly a Rithmic issue. It looks like the connection to the market data feed is continuously getting lost. One reason for that is using an invalid symbol. Check the Window >> Message Log to see what is happening: Message Log Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Yes its definitely disconnecting from data consistently. If this is a problem with rithmic then why did it start right when I downloaded SC again? Or was it just coincidence? Im going to reach out to rithmic right now as well but I was supposed to go live in about 45 min from now.

The version number of Sierra Chart is known to Rithmic since it is sent on login to Rithmic. And Rithmic can change the behavior of their server with different versions. We have seen that before. Make sure you are not using any invalid symbols.
