DOM volume bars

I have my DOM set to see bid/ask volume bars but I dont see them and then they will randomly show up on my DOM. I have all my session times set to the same. Any ideas?

It sounds like there are some large volumes far away that you are not seeing, so what you do see has very small volume bars. Try limiting the range of the data displayed in the Bid/Ask columns by adjusting the following setting: Chart Settings: Maximum Market Depth Levels (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Market Depth menu) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing

I have this set correctly. Still when I open my chartbook I dont see any volume bars until like 10 minutes after my chartbook has been open. Any other ideas? Ill post my chart dom here

In the Chartbook you sent, the Trading DOM does not have the "Bid Market Depth" or "Ask Market Depth" columns displayed. You just have "Buy Order Column" and "Sell Order Column". You need to either add the separate "Bid Size" and "Ask Size" columns, or replace the "Buy/Sell Order Column" with the "Bid Size/Buy Column" and the "Ask Size/Sell Column". It is there . I just have it "greyed out" so I only want to see the bid/ask volume bars. For example I am now seeing the bid/ask column bars but nothing was showing up all morning in the volume bar column. Thats my issue. Sometimes the bars show and sometimes they show no bars

In the Chartbook you sent us, the columns were not present for the Bid/Ask. There was the Recent Bid/Ask columns. Are you referring to the Recent Bid/Ask or to the main Bid/Ask Market Depth? Here look at the attached pic. The bars in the pic are bid/ ask volume bars . My problem is: they don’t show up when I open my chartbook . How can I resolved this so they are always shown?
