'technical' question, at 5:45 p.m. (Brussels (+1CET/ +2CEST) what's happening on Sierra? systematically at this precise time there is an automatic refresh on the Daily Charts, not on the Intradays (I think) the 'problem' is that it distorts my pricing level during this 'refresh', I looked at all the Sierra settings along and across I can't find the solution, so for the moment I have placed the Auto Recalculation study to counter this problem, is there a solution? It doesn't 'bother' in itself, I would just like to understand why this is happening, it created certain errors for me due to my alert settings which sent lots of false signals because of this refresh at this precise time. I gained experience once again (great thing) because I temporarily solved the problem, except that I would like to understand, it may be that I didn't look where I needed to, The solution is probably right under my nose but I'm having trouble seeing it, so please forgive me but I think only you can help me! Thank you for taking the time to read me, my best(biggests) regards |

There is one setting that forces a reconnection at a set time. Refer to the following: Advanced Service Settings: Reconnect (Global Settings >> Advanced Service Settings) Otherwise, the only reason this would occur is if you are adding a study or making some kind of modification that would require the chart to need to recalculate. It is also possible that a custom study is doing this. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Thank you very much for your response, I will monitor this closely. I have another question (I don't know if this is the right place to ask it) - In the 'Condition Alerts' options, is it possible to add the 'disable for the day after trigger' option? I also noticed that you added the 'flatten' option in the 'trading system based on altert condition' option, it's excellent, thank you very much! |

There is not a way to disable trading through an alert condition. It sounds like the "Global Profit/Loss Management" feature will have what you are looking for.
