Hi Folks! I have a problem with a trailstop. Target 1 was hit, T2 and 3 are still in process. The trail stop on Target 1 is still live. What am i doing wrong? When a target gets hit, i would love its trailing stop to end and let the other targets play out. I hope this makes sense. Thank you |

Were Stop1 and Target1 part of an OCO group? If so the Stop1 should be automatically canceled when Target1 fills.

Target 1 is OCO group 1, target 2 is OCO group 2 and target 2 is OCO group 3. Make sense? Stop 1 never gets cancelled when Target 1 gets filled... ?? |

Make sure "Stop 1" is set to be in "OCO Group 1" so that it is explicitly associated with the "Target 1". It sounds like this is not the case. Also, check your Trade Activity Log and look for the Orders that filled the Target and see if there is an order that tries to remove the Stop and see if there is any information on perhaps why the stop was not removed. And also check your "Trade Service Log" to see if there is any information in there about why it may not have been removed. thank you but it is set to OCO group 1. as far as the activity log, that is a very technical task.. is there anyway i can send you the info from there? Just need to know how and where to send.. Thank you

This is not something that is part of our Support, unless there is something wrong with the log itself. It does seem daunting, but it is not as hard as it seems. You just need to look through the orders and determine what was occurring at that time.
