Dear Sir/Madam I've just got started with package 11 and US Equities However, market data always lags at market open 9.30am EST for a minute to a few minutes, happens everyday. I'm not sure if its because I'm setup on the wrong server or package? I'm based in Singapore, so I've been reading up on other users in Singapore having the same issue. They mentioned that I would have to set my server/port as DS13-2.sierracharts.com:10150, which i did input into the CME Exchange Data Feed Server Address and Port Override. However, Ive done that, and SierraCharts still goes to other servers like DS32 or DS33. Does this not apply/work because I'm using Consolidated Tape Equities Feed (for the Numbers Bars Study)? I've also done other things like High Compression. Can't change Intraday Data Storage Time Unit because numbers bar requires tick. Please help me set up the best server for Singapore please..... I trade the open usually so the lag makes it unusable Thank you so much! Per Kin |

Regarding post #1, you are using US equities data. We made a change now which should resolve the problem for you. We need you to restart Sierra Chart and perform a Force Login just to be sure you get the updated connection addresses: Sierra Chart - Software Login Instructions: Forced Login There are no settings you are able to change regarding connection addresses for US equities data. We also want you to set this setting to 350 ms or higher: Sierra Chart Server Settings: Remote Buffer Delay Send Time In Milliseconds (Global Settings >> Sierra Chart Server Settings >> General >> General) Due to the increased latency. ----- Regarding post #2 you are using CME data. For this setting: Sierra Chart Server Settings: CME Exchange Data Feed Server Address and Port Override (Global Settings >> Sierra Chart Server Settings >> General >> Special) Use one of the following servers: ds32.sierracharts.com ds32-2.sierracharts.com ds25.sierracharts.com ds25-2.sierracharts.com For this setting: Sierra Chart Server Settings: CME Exchange Data Feed Historical Server Address Override (Global Settings >> Sierra Chart Server Settings >> General >> Special) Set it to ds32.sierracharts.com And then you will need to reconnect with File >> Reconnect.
