The time period type and duration don't allow to pick day of the week e.g. Friday.

No, but the study can be configured to always draw the previous close on to the next day.

Yes, the study does allow that, and it's useful to have the previous close on the next day chart. But I am specifically interested in last Friday's closing price to appear on all of the following days e.g. Mon, Tue, and so forth. |

You would need to use the given study along with the Spreadsheet Study where you can then get a particular day's data by using a combination of the IF(), WEEKDAY() and MOSTRECENTNONZEROVALUE() functions. If you want Friday's Settlement price, add an Historical Weekly chart, then use the Study/Price Overlay study on the intraday chart to overlay its close price.
