How to connect the Rithmic while using Sierra Denali market and historical data?

I'm using Rithmic for APEX Evaluation account. Earlier my Sierra is linked with Stage 5 account.

I read the instructions regarding connecting Rithmic and Sierra, which also states that Rithmic data is unreliable and it's recommended to still use the Sierra Denali data. How do I do that?

Thank you!

Should I just leave the market data and historical data username and password blank under Data / Trade service settings?

Yes, you should, but this is not what controls whether you get the data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed or not. Leaving these blank helps with a Permission Denied error that comes from Rithmic sometimes.

You do not need to do anything. Just connect the Sierra Chart installation to Rithmic by following these instructions:
Rithmic Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions

Any data that you are setup to get from us will come from us, and any other data will come from Rithmic. Refer to the information at the following link:

We also want to point out that if you are trading both your live account with Stage 5 and an APEX account, then we recommend having two installations of Sierra Chart. One that is connected to Stage 5 and the other that is connected to APEX. If you have not already done this, then refer to the instructions at the following link:

Hi John,

it appears that the chart is not connected to Denali data feed as it looks incomplete

I followed the setup instruction and the data feed header has a [M], which according to the Integration with Trading Services page means it is connected to Denali? so I'm confused what's happening and how to correct it

Thank you

Did you Translate the symbols to the current service?

yes I did translate & reconnect before; currently trying delete all data and download

------
update: "edit -> delete all data and download" seems to work, the data doesn't look weird / missing anymore

but it only shows data since Mar 2018, although I set historical data to be 10,000 days; I'm guessing it's because the earliest symbol I can select when connecting to Rithmic is NQM.9CME (expired in June 2019)? When connecting to Teton CME, I could select contracts way earlier to NQZ96_FUT_CME.

Not sure if this is the difference between different trading services, or is there any setting I can adjust to make the data feed include earlier than 2018 data when connected to Rithmic?

This is the correct procedure when you have missing data.

This is due to Rithmic only using a single digit for the year. So you are limited to 5 years of data in this case.
