How do I stop the chat window opening automatically at start of Sierra Chart? Theres no info on this option |

We have looked into this. This is going to the be the result, of an Alert Number you have set up, which is sending the alert text to the chat. And it is being triggered, on start up of Sierra Chart. If that is not it, then close the Chat window before exiting Sierra Chart, and it will not open on start up other than for the reason we give above. I acknowledge that an alert is triggering the Chat window to open every time Sierra Chart is opened. However, the alert in my case is a connection lost message from 3 days ago. This alert is no longer relevant. So, how can I disable the Chat window from opening every time? Do I have to disconnect? If I disconnect, then will Chat always be disabled, even when another connection lost message is triggered? I'd like the Chat to come alive if a new alert is triggered but not stay on or open after current alerts have been acknowledged. Is this possible? Thank you. It could not be an old alert, it must be a new one. What is the latest message do you see in the topmost chat, which caused it open? You can right-click on it and copy it and paste it here.
