Hello, Can you please help me, First, I love this software! but I am having an issue of continuous shutdowns without error codes onscreen, the entire application Sierra Charts closes without warning, (not the computer-just Sierra Chart) numerous times per day. This just started within the last two weeks.

I can only find the error in the message log as:
2024-03-23 19:55:58.955 | DTC Client socket (1) | Close event error. Windows error code 10053: An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine.
It is fair to say that I don't know what I am looking for though. I did send the entire message log from the last incident for analysis through the message log.

I have tried the following without success by consulting the support board:
1. downloading the updates for Sierra Chart including the Prerelease version.
2. Starting in Safe Mode
3. Updating Windows 11, including incompatible drivers.

I have 128GB RAM and about 70GB of available memory on the optical hard drive.
I am not super computer technical and am having trouble finding the appropriate resources to resolve this. Can you please help me?
Thank you!
Lorn A

First, this should never happen.

If you are running in Safe Mode, you should not have this problem. Which would indicate this is a system issue.

Based upon everything we are reading here, at this point we want you to use a different computer and see if you can reproduce the problem. The computer has to be ruled out as the problem.

If that is difficult, the next step is to do a completely new installation of Sierra Chart into a different folder. Start with new Chartbooks and do not use anything existing from a prior installation (Although this should not matter).

Install Sierra Chart into the folder: C:\SierraChart2\

The other thing we would like to know is how much memory is Sierra Chart using? You can tell through the Windows task manager:
High CPU Usage | Inactive User Interface | Poor Performance | Long Time to Load Chart Data | Charts Reloading Often: 30.28 - Memory or Graphics Device Interface Object Leak
