hello
I tried to attach a chart but it did not upload. can I send the chart image by email.
I get the message chart uploaded and the file name but I don't see it here attached to this message.

Please get us your message Log by following these instructions:

Close all of the Chartbooks with "File >> Close All Chartbooks".

Open a single chart for the symbol you have an issue with through "File >> Find Symbol". Tell us that symbol of the chart. Tell us about *one* symbol only.

Disconnect from the data feed with "File >> Disconnect".

Connect to the data feed with "File >> Connect to Data Feed".

After the connection and after about 10 seconds, provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions:

We will then determine what the problem is.

You have the "NASDAQ TotalView" exchange active from us. As such, you need to enter your chart symbols for U.S. Equities with a -NQTV suffix, so for AMD you would need to enter AMD-NQTV in order to get the data from our NASDAQ TotalView exchange. Refer to the following:

The log you sent shows that you only had the symbol entered as "AMD", therefore this would pull the data from our "U.S. Equities Consolidated Tape" exchange, for which you are not setup to get the real-time data. This is why you were getting the delayed data for this chart.

And keep in mind that since you are using Interactive Brokers, you need to use the "Trade and Current Quote Symbol" and enter the full Interactive Brokers symbol in order to actually trade the equities. Refer to the following:

hello support

as suggested by you,

I used the trading symbol with the extension e.g tsla-stk-smart/nasdaq.
now the chart is updating correctly in real-time and I can do simulated trading.
However, I am not able to do non-simulated real trading.

please help me with this issue also.

It looks like you are connected to Interactive Brokers. Are you selecting the option for "Trade >> Trade Simulation Mode On" to turn off Simulation Mode and then be trading live with IB?

If you are not in Simulation Mode and you are having a problem trading, then we need to know exactly what is occurring. Also, check your "Trade >> Trade Service Log" file to see if there is information in there on what may have occurred.

1. Yes there is a problem submitting the order; the order does not fill.

2. I keep an order on the chart waiting for a trade. when I move the order and drag it near the price to place the trade; the order line jumps back to its original position waiting position from where I started to drag it. Therefore trade cannot be placed.
I have tried dragging the order line right into the last active live bar and the order does not get filled.

3. I have tried placing a market order and it does not go through. I have also tried limit and stop orders as well but with no success.

Work with Market orders only to start with. Place a Market Order and if it does not fill, then open your "Trade >> Trade Service Log" and post the information from that log to this thread.

There is a connectivity issue between your Sierra Chart and TWS. But we do not know exactly what it is, as there is not enough information.

The one thing we can tell you to check is to ensure that you are on the most recent version of Sierra Chart (v 2626) and that you are on the most recent "Stable" release of TWS (make sure it is what they call a "Stable" release, do not use any other version).

Then see if you continue to have an issue refer to the following:

I have done what you suggested in your previous post but the issue remains. I need help with this, please.

Now the simulation mode that was working fine has come up with issues similar to the real-time mode issues.

This does not make any sense. Simulation mode can not have a problem. What exactly is occurring when you have Simulation Mode On? What are you doing and what is occurring?
