Hi SC team, I believe recently the option "Copy from Global" has been added to the Graphics Settings - Chart options. For me this is very helpful because now I can store multiple templates in the global graphics settings and then apply them if needed to invidual charts. However the option is not working for me. When I click on "Copy from Global" and click "Yes" as confirmation, the whole dialog window is closed and none of the Global graphics settings are copied to the Graphics Settings - Chart. What am I doing wrong? Kind regards, Rombout |

It is correct that the dialog window is closed after you select "Yes" to the confirmation. But the particular items in the "Graphics Settings - Chart" should be updated to the currently selected Global Graphics Settings. We just tried this a few times to ensure everything is working correctly and we can not reproduce the problem you are having. The global graphics are definitely correctly being copied to the chart specific settings. Please try a very simple item for us - the Chart Background. Change this in your Global Graphics and then go to your Chart Graphics and select the option for "Copy from Global". Re-open the Chart Graphics window and let us know if it updated to the Global Graphics setting or not. Be sure to look at the actual entry for Chart Background. Ok, I tried your example and for the Chart Background the setting was correctly copied and the background color was changed. However, I tried the same for the setting for the ChartDOM Buy Column Background and this setting was not copied and did not change.

You need to have that item "Enabled" in the "Graphics Settings - Chart" for the "Copy from Global" to actually copy it to the Chart Graphics settings. It does not need to be enabled in the Global Graphics, just in the Chart Graphics (in other words, it has to be in use in the Chart Graphics to have it copy over). This is not the reason for the problem: You need to have that item "Enabled" in the "Graphics Settings - Chart" for the "Copy from Global" to actually copy it to the Chart Graphics settings.
