It is correct that the dialog window is closed after you select "Yes" to the confirmation. But the particular items in the "Graphics Settings - Chart" should be updated to the currently selected Global Graphics Settings. We just tried this a few times to ensure everything is working correctly and we can not reproduce the problem you are having. The global graphics are definitely correctly being copied to the chart specific settings. Please try a very simple item for us - the Chart Background. Change this in your Global Graphics and then go to your Chart Graphics and select the option for "Copy from Global". Re-open the Chart Graphics window and let us know if it updated to the Global Graphics setting or not. Be sure to look at the actual entry for Chart Background.
