I cant place an real order for my AMP

The SIM orders are working well. I tried to place a real order with AMP a few times in the past. The order briefly appeared, but after a very short time, 0.5s, the order disappeared again. I then checked my AMP account by the support. They said everything is fine, CQG WebAPI is set up and should work. I should contact Sierra Support. I had a friend review my Sierra settings, and he found no errors. My Data/Trade Service settings seem to be fine; I can see my AMP account number correctly displayed in the DOM. How can I proceed from here? Regards |

After you send a trade and see this occur, select "Trade >> Trade Service Log" and look in there for any issues related to the order. You can post it here for us to review. Also, take a look at your Trade Activity Log and find the first fill for the order and then look at the following Order information to see what it states on why the position was closed. Don't worry about the account number, that is not the issue. Refer to the following regarding the account number with CQG: CQG Trading Platform Service: CQG Trading Account Numbers There is something about your order setup that CQG does not like. Most likely this is the "Time in Force". Be sure to check this with both the parent and any attached orders. It is best to have this set to "Day" (assuming you are not holding any overnight positions) or "Good til Cancelled". But you would need to check with your broker to get the specific issue. Maybe the problem is my username in sierra. It is Ivan Baic and in AMP it is Bajic. I could not find the way to change it in sierra as I saw it. Would it be possible to correct my last name to Bajic? |

You can always update your information in Sierra Chart at the following link: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ManageAccountInfo But that is not the issue. You need to ask your broker to look into this. We do not know what the specific thing is that CQG is rejecting on. Like we said, Time in Force is usually the culprit, but there is apparently something else. Your broker needs to dig into it and find the specific item that is being rejected.
