i have a saved custom numbers bars study and a saved custom numbers bars calculated values studies. When i load my saved study on the numbers bar, it successfully applies but when i go to load my saved calculated values study, it wipes my numbers bar study. It will not let me load 2 custom studies. Help? |

What do you mean by "Custom" studies? Are these actual fully custom studies that you have created that replicate the Numbers Bars and Numbers Bars Calculated Values, or do you mean you have custom default settings? Also, when you say you load the "Custom Numbers Bars Calculated Values" study and "...it wipes my numbers bar study." Do you mean it wipes out your Numbers Bars Calculated Values study, or the actual Numbers Bars study? And what exactly is occurring in terms of it being "wiped"? thanks for replying. By custom i meant that i customized a numbers bar study and saved it under “Save studies as study collection”. When i apply the numbers bar study, i can click my saved study and press “load” and it will load my settings i previously saved. I did the same as above with a calculated values study. “Save study as study collection”. When i go load my saved calculated values study, it removes my numbers bar study from the chart. I can have multiple studies on the chart but when i try to load more than 1 saved study, it will remove all other studies. Hopefully that made more sense. |

Thank you, now we understand what is occurring. The issue is that when you save a Study Collection, you have to specifically tell the system that you want to be prompted to remove other studies. Otherwise, when you load the study collection, it will remove all other studies. It sounds like you have this setup for one of your study collections, but not the other. Note that there is a checkbox for this on the Analysis window where you save the Study Collection, but the real driver is whether there is a "+" or "-" at the end of the filename that you save (for example, if you save the study collection as "MyStudies-" then it will ask whether you want to remove other studies or not, but "MyStudies" will not prompt and will remove all other existing studies. Refer to the following for this: Study Collections: Adding a Study Collection Without Clearing Existing Studies On The Chart (Prompt to Remove Existing Studies) -- Separately, we want to point out that the account you have posted from is "expired". We typically do not give any support for non-paying accounts, but in this case we first responded since we thought you might be dealing with a custom study. If you have an active account, be sure you post from that account from now on.
