Chartbooks are all gone?

Welp I quickly went from joyous to tears. Worked all night reading and putting together chartbooks and scans only to wake up and see them all gone. Not sure what happened. I save everything, hit the save all at the end when I close the charts but everything I did is gone and it was a ton of work.

I checked back up folders and nothing is there.

EDIT: Okay, I added a chart and from "File" on the right side column was able to see and load a chartbook.

I guess I was under the assumption when I started SC my chartbooks and layout all would load as I open it. I still am confused on why the Chartbook files are not in their Windows folder? Are they stored on my PC?

TIA

Chartbooks are stored locally on your computer.

They should all be listed in File >> Open Chartbook.

With regards to what Chartbooks automatically open when you start Sierra Chart, refer to the following settings (the one in the link and the one below it):
General Settings Window: Open Files On Startup (Global Settings >> General Settings >> General >> Startup)

We are not sure what you are referring to in terms of "I still am confused on why the Chartbook files are not in their Windows folder?" Sierra Chart is setup to be self-contained, so you can move it around without having to deal with major operating system issues. As such, files such as chartbooks, are stored in the "Data" folder under the main Sierra Chart installation folder. They are not stored in your "My Documents" or anything such as that.
