No longer getting audio alerts or volume control in volume mixer. If I test a sound it shows up, then disappears after a short period of time. Alert Manager shows that my Time Alerts for Open/Close are still active but when it's time to trigger (for instance on the close 5 mins ago), they don't. No entries at all in log. We can not help with your not having any Volume Control in your Volume Mixer. That is an operating system issue. For other items to check for alert sounds not working, refer to the following: General Settings Window: Troubleshooting for Alert Sounds That Do Not Play In terms of alerts not showing/occurring when you are expecting them to (Close 5 minutes ago), then you need to look into why the alert is not working. In particular, check to see if the alert is present, and is set to "enabled" and verify that everything looks correct. There would have to be some problem with the alert if it is not working as you are expecting. Alert is present, enabled and correct. Haven't touched these alert settings in years. Only change is updating Sierrachart. As I mentioned the volume control in the mixer shows up if I pull up all the alerts and then [Test Sound]. Just not automatically on launch. |
