Hi there, Is there a way I can confirm my orders will execute when I close the software or my computer. With my paper trading account (Edgeclear brokers) Everything else works fine but I can't leave a trade on and shut computer without it ignoring the order? If I close the computer and the sell order is at $100 and I come back and the order is still open at $98. It happens consistently. Any one else had thsi problem? This would obviously be catastrophic with real funds. Kpac. |

This would not occur with a live account unless you specifically select a Client Side order type. It looks like you are using our Teton Order Routing Service, so refer to the following regarding this for live trading: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing: What is Included When you are using the built-in Simulation Mode, you are only working with your local software, so if the computer is off, or asleep, the program is not running therefore you will have this kind of thing happen. A solution to this is to use our "Simulated Futures Trading Service" instead. Refer to the information here: Simulated Futures Trading Service For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
