Hi! I have managed to print a value from another study above/below ONLY the last bar using "Color Bar Based On Alert Condition" using "Value on high"/"Value on low". BUT is it possible to print several values, with a tick offset? It would be very useful, so I can focus on once place, reading both the chart and important values at the same time.. thanks for any input! Best regards Anders/Sweden |

We do not know exactly what you are doing, but the Color Bar Based on Alert Condition has an offset capability - so if you use multiple copies of this study, you should be able to get the data displayed above one another by setting an appropriate offset. Another study that can do the same thing is the "Study Subgraph Above/Below Bar as Text". Refer to the following: Study Subgraph Above/Below Bar as Text For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Thanks John, I am using the offset, 10 ticks, but it still prints right on the top or low of the bar, draw style "Value on top"/"Value on bottom". Should I use a different draw style? Bar type is range/renko. "Study Subgraph Above/Below Bar as Text" is for ALL bars, right? Not ONLY the last one..? Regards Anders |

Using the "Value on High" or "Value on Low" does not allow the Offset to be used in the Color Bar Based on Alert Condition. Set the following to view the value at the High and apply an offset: - Input Data: High - Output when Value True: Use Input Data - Subgraphs Tab: Color Bar "Draw Style": Value of Subgraph For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Thanks John, But doing it that way prints the price at the tick offset.. and not the value from the study that I want to display. "Output when condition true" must be "Study Subgraph Reference" I would assume for that to happen!? Regards Anders |

Right - sorry about that. Since you just want to display the information for the Current Bar, we recommend using the Spreadsheet Study to determine the value you want. Use an "IF" statement along with the Row() function to determine what you want and have it output the value you want. Then use the "Study Subgraph Above/Below Bar as Text" to display the data and apply an offset. To give you an example, here is what you would enter in cell K3 to get the Open of a bar displayed for just the current bar: =IF(ROW() = 3, ID0.SG1@3, 0) You can then expand the IF or the result information as you need by using AND() and OR() functions.
