Missing Data

Good morning, I am having issues with missing data on 6JYZ23. Some backstory, I was having similar problems w/ 6BPU23 (set on continuous unadjusted) a few weeks ago, I was missing ~1 month of data for the M contract. The correction was to open a chart on the M contract and let the data download.

With this JY, I am missing data from 2016 until now. Could I go through all the contracts from then until now and download all that data. Sure. Is that feasable? No. Is there a better way to get this data to fill in?

I am also having an issue with all data loading. I have to disconnect and re-connect to get data to download most of the time. Is there a solution to this?

Thank you.

What exactly is the symbol as it is entered for your chart. We need the fully entered symbol.

Is this in a Sub-Instance (started using File >> New Instance)? If so, then open a chart for that instrument in the Main Instance and load the data as far back as you need, then you should be able to get it into the sub-instance.

Also, is this a Daily (or higher timeframe) or an Intraday chart?

No, it is not a sub-instance.

It is set on intraday chart at 1440 min. It does not matter if I go down timeframes (IE 240 min) and set it for 1000+ days back, the data will not load. I have tried reload and recalculate as well.

Continuous futures contract - Volume based rollover

I have attached a screenshot of things that will hopefully help in being able to assist.

Thank you.

First thing to do is to follow the instructions here:
Continuous Futures Contract Charts: Re-Downloading Continuous Futures Contract Data

And re-download data for all contract months. All of them.

And you must also update Sierra Chart as explained in the post below.

I have re-downloaded data for all contract months as well as installed the latest version. It did not correct the issue.

It may be important to note as I tried to explain in my first post, the data does not automatically download. In order to download data, I need to disconnect. Only once I hit disconnect does the data begin downloading.

There may be a connectivity problem.

We want you to follow the instructions here:
Historical Intraday Data (Missing Data / Download Errors / Viewing More Data): Improving Historical Intraday Data Downloading Performance

And set the Intraday Data Storage Time Unit 1 Minute.

And then re-download the data again:

I kept working with it and finally was able to get it to download. Not sure which of the above fixed it, but it did. Thank you again.
