Apologies for my English.

This is my problem. I'm on a daily time frame, i'm in the 7th of July and let's imagine that i want to look back 30 days (7th june), an specific lower low. ok. Once I'm there on the 7th, i want to go lower on the time frame, 5 minutes.

My problem is that when I select 5 minutes, the chart goes back to the 7th of July or a near time in the 7th of june.

What i want is going to 7th june, go down to 5 minutes, and the chart stays in that exact same day... I don't want to be scrolling sideways or stretching the time slide etc...

It is this possible?

I tried Zoom In, yeah it works partially, because once i zoom out to move the chart to start viewing that period, etc, it goes back to the beginning.

We are not fully understanding the issue.

When you change the Bar Period the system is going to put you close to where you were before the bar period change. But admittedly, it is not always going to be exactly where you were. You will have to adjust your chart to some extend.

Ok, sorry. I will try to be more specific.

Scenario:

I'm viewing in my screen a Daily chart that goes from June to October.

I put a Vertical line (like a visual guide) on day October 1st, because that's the day I want to analyze, so then I switch to 5 minute time frame. And when I do this i'm not even near that date in a 5 minute time frame. The chart in the 5 minute time frame starts (shows me) from TODAY 19:34 till 5:30 am. That's not even near October 1st. I have to scroll A LOT.

There has to be a way to get really close to October 1st without scrolling like there is no tomorrow.

The system simply does not do this exactly as you would like. We are not sure exactly the algorithm that is used behind the scenes to determine where to put the chart when a timeframe is changed.

The best option for you is to use the "Chart >> GoTo Date-Time" to be able to enter the Date and Time where you want the chart to go to. Refer to the following:
Chart Menu: Goto Date/Time (Chart menu)
