The system simply does not do this exactly as you would like. We are not sure exactly the algorithm that is used behind the scenes to determine where to put the chart when a timeframe is changed. The best option for you is to use the "Chart >> GoTo Date-Time" to be able to enter the Date and Time where you want the chart to go to.
