Pullback bar is identical to main bar in SC Trading Evaluator Service

This morning, my RTY DOM pullback footprint is exactly identical to the main bar footprint if I'm using the SC Trading Evaluator data connection. Every number is the same. This is happening in my main instance and sub instance. If I switch to Rithmic, everything is perfectly correct. Only happens in RTY, other equity indices are fine.

Anyone have any ideas on why this is happening and how to fix it for the Trading Evaluator service? Running SC 2540 and at this time can't update, because newer versions have recently broken some studies I rely on.

In that screenshot I'm on the SC Trading Evaluator service. If I switch to Rithmic, the Pullback is instantly correct. If I switch back, it's wrong again.

Ok thankss, we were confused by the symbol.

There is no reason why there should be any difference in the data due to the connection. We really do not know you are getting this, as we can not reproduce it.

Can you please attach the chart to this thread for us to take a look and hopefully we will be able to reproduce it and figure it out. Follow these instructions to get us your chart:

What we think is occurring is simply that you have a very large bar period (1439 minutes). Keep in mind that the Pullback will only reset when there is a Touch or New High/Low of the current bar, not of the Pullback bar. Therefore, you might see some reset of the pullback when the current bar is first forming, but eventually most of the trading is going to occur within the confines of the established High/Low. Therefore, the pullback will look very similar to the current bar, since it is not resetting.

Thanks, but this is most definitely not what is happening. The pulback is not *similar*, it is *identical* down to the numbers at every price. If I switch to Rithmic, the pullback instantly switches to what I would expect (obvious visual and numeric differences in the pullback). If I switch back to the Evaluator Trading service, it instantly goes back to being a perfect mirror of the bar. And since the pullback bar can *never* be an exact copy of the bar (since by definition it contains only the volume since the bar last made a new high/low), something is definitely not right somehow.

Also I've never once seen the "reset on touch" work. Nor has anyone else I've spoken with or watched trade. I even posted about it in the forum but never found an answer/solution. But, that's a separate issue to this post.

Being this is an issue which affects one specific chart. Create a new chart and see if you still have the issue. If not, then just simply no longer use that other chart. There must be something in the settings but we cannot take the time to be analyzing this. It is not anything wrong with the core functionality.

The reset on touch functionality only affects the historical pullback data and we see no indication that it is not working as documented.

I already tried a fresh chart, there was no difference. I even tried in a totally different instance of SC, with the same result, but only if I'm on the Trading Evaluator service. I guess I'll just have to keep experimenting/exploring.

The pullback on touch I'm referring to is the pullback for the current bar, which is the only place I use the pullback. Would be extremely useful to be able to have it reset on touch instead of only on new high/low.
