SC US equities and futures data feed - setup question

Hi SC. I use the interactive brokers trading service linked to the SC realtime data feed which has been working great for futures. I've now enabled the US equities for my account too, but I can't seem to get any equity to use the SC data and instead it's just requesting the IB stock data. Is is possible to access futures and stock data from the SC data service all from a single instance of SC? I am aware that it can be done with two seperate instances but I would like to know whether that is a requirement. I have seen some past threads about this but I am having difficulty understanding what is being said. Many thanks! |

Restart Sierra Chart, open a stock chart when using Interactive Brokers and then post a copy of the Message Log by following these instructions: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=PostingInformation.php#log You can do this in a single instance, but there are some stock symbol formats with Interactive Brokers that are not going to be mapped properly. Ok great. I have done as you mention above. I deleted any data relating to this symbol from my data files folder before starting SC and then tried to open a stock chart for USO. We cannot see a reason why this will not work from the Message Log. Could you please Update the Symbol Settings as explained here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_GlobalSymbolSettings.php#UpdateSettings After that reconnect to the data feed and go to the chart and select Edit >> Delete All Data and Download.
