I have two instances of Sierra charts installed. Today morning, I updated both installations from version 2528 to latest 2543. One installation works smoothly. The other installation closes when trying to open chartbook. Both installations have same custom studies so don't think that would be an issue. The Sierra chart installation which has problem has chartbook with TPO charts and intraday chart with 300 days and historical charts with 4000 days. The one with no issue has chartbooks with 4 charts max 2-3 days data. When I re-installed the problematic Sierra chart with previous 2528 version, it works without any issue. |

Please get us the chartbook that you believe is causing the issue and we will see if we can reproduce the issue and figure out what may have occurred. We were able to open the chartbook without any issues. On that version of the software that does not work in version 2543, have you tried starting Sierra Chart without automatically opening any chartbooks? If so, does it crash prior to opening a chartbook? If it does open, then if you start a new chart, do you have an issue? If you open an existing Chartbook, is it then that it crashes? Sierra Chart crashes upon opening the existing chartbook. I did try testing opening a new chart and it opened without any issue. But when I try to open the chartbook, Sierra chart crashes. The same chartbook opened without any issue when i re-installed older 2528 version. |
