Hi I'd like to display the current price above/below the current bar and only the current bar. I've tried Text Display for study, input set to Current price line study, but if I set the drawing style to value high/low it will still display as a box on my chart instead of the at the current bar high/low. I've also tried Study subgraph above/below above/below bar as text, which does what I want but I can't seem to make it display the text on the current bar only. |

To do what you want you just need the "Color Bar Based on Alert Condition" study. But, the one downside to this is that it does not let you offset the position of the display, it is just "Value on High". But (again), you can then use the "Study Subgraph Above/Below Bar as Text" study along with the "Color Bar Based on Alert Condition" to then offset the display. We have attached a Study Collection that has both studies in it with both set to display (the Study Subgraph Above/Below Bar As Text is offset by 10 ticks), so you can see how they are displayed. Refer to the following for how to use the Study Collection: Study Collections: Using a Study Collection Provided by Sierra Chart Support If you like the "Color Bar Based on Alert Condition" then just remove the "Study Subgraph Above/Below Bar As Text". If you like the "Study Subgraph Above/Below Bar As Text", then hide the "Color Bar Based on Alert Condition". Thanks John this is exactly what I was looking for. As an quick aside, is there a way to offset either study on the X axis? The "Color Bar Based on Alert Condition" is close to perfect, but I noticed that because the display overlaps with the previous bars sometimes I can't see the high/low of the previous bar, so I'm thinking of shifting it by a few ticks to the right so I can see everything. Y axis of "Color Bar Based on Alert Condition" is perfectly fine. |

There is not a way to move the text to the left or right of a bar. The only option is having it centered on the bar.
