Hello! I have Sierra Chart connected to my Apex account via Rithmic. I placed a limit order and before it was filled my internet connection experienced high traffic. This resulted in extreme latency for SC with an interruption to the realtime data feed. I observed all charts intermittently showing "Downloading historical data..." pop ups. The order I placed was a s2 contract sell limit order with an accompanying trailing buy stop all, and 2 profit stops of different prices. All of these orders showed a mixture of filled, pending and various other states over a couple of minutes. I also attempted to drag one of the profit stops to a different price however this kept on snapping back to the original price level, which was how I was alerted to a problem initially. To avoid losses I pressed "CancelAll" on Sierra Chart and attempted to resolve my connection issue. I sorted out the problem and by this time 1 profit stop had been filled but the second profit stop remained active. I'm not sure how but after various attempts to cancel the order, enter a buy stop manually, and switching to Rithmic to cancel all positions, I ended up with Sierra Chart indicating I am holding a short position, however Rithmic indicates I am not holding any positions. I made a subsequent order successfully however Sierra Chart appears to be out of sync with Rithmic. If I enter a trade on Sierra Chart, when the stop all limit is filled, instead of showing the fill for that trade, it shows the trade is filled from the previous open order. Rithmic continues to show successful orders being filled with no issue. I have restarted Sierra Chart and upgraded to the latest version in an attempt to resolve this issue, however it persists. Can someone please advise how I can fix this? Thanks, Gavin |

You are missing an order fill from when you had that connection issue. Since most trading services do not keep the order fill information around for long, Sierra Chart was not able to get it from Rithmic once the connectivity was re-established. Refer to the following for how to manually enter a fill so everything will be good: Trade Activity Log: Manually Inserting Missing Order Fills Another option is to set the "Order Fills Start Date-Time" to a current time when you are flat in the market, so the older fills will no longer impact the current ones. Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Order Fills Start Date-Time (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Trading menu) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
