OK. is there a workaround or alternative solution? I am exporting Number CV2 data to a text display study from chart...Even though the settings under subgraphs for auto coloring based +- are present, the exported NBVC2 does not change color, which is a huge problem. The study subgraph above/below bar as text will export NBCV2 data and change colors, but it only does so on a chart, not the DOM. When I apply this study on the dom it cant retrieve the data because the DOM can't display NBCV2 data, so my only retrieval options are whats in the dom, which is pointless. So the question really is, why does the color change for pos/neg values on the study subgraph above/below bar as text, but it will not change for the study, text display study from from chart? The same dropdown and autocoloring options for +- values are present for both, one works, one does not. The data I need to trade is mostly on the DOM, but I also need NBCV and would like there to be a way to get that data with +- color changes to the DOM somehow, either in a label column, custom trade dom column, floating control bar, or color changing text display. Please advise best way to resolve. |

The "Text Display For Study From Chart" does not use the Auto-Coloring. It is creating a drawing and just uses the one color. The solution for what you want to do is to use the "Study Subgraph Reference". You can then use the Name or Value Label and place that in the Label Column or Price Ladder. You can then use the Auto-Color options to have that label change color. Hi John, I have tried your solution and read the documentation and cant get it work properly. Study subgraph reference does not offer an option to pull data from another chart in the chartbook from the dropdown boxes. So the data I need from NBCV2 is not available for that study because it is not in the dom but a chart..the only data for the study that is available is the data from the DOM... LG |

Sorry, we forgot you were talking about a Trade DOM. The way to do this then, is to use the "Study Subgraph Reference" in the Chart that has the Numbers Bars Calculated Values. Reference the particular item from the Numbers Bars Calculated Values in the study. Then in the Trading DOM use the "Study/Price Overlay" and reference the "Study Subgraph Reference". This will get that information into the Trading DOM. Then set the Inputs on the Study/Price Overlay for the following all to "No": - Use Subgraph Name/Value Related Display Settings From Source Study - Use Colors from Source Study - Use Styles and Widths from Source Study - Always use Short Names from Source Study Then set the Subgraph Draw Style to "Subgraph Name and Value Labels Only" and set the Labels as you want them. In #6 above you mention use of study subgraph reference...and study overlay are you able to actually view the NBCV2 data on the dom somewhere with color changes?...it does not have to be the label column...because I have messed with this for hours now and it will not display the data anywhere on the trade dom...i scalp using the dom, not the charts. Access to Numbers bar data in a visbile format would help tremendously.. if this is possible in any way, (custom programmer) please advise. if not please consider a feature request that allows NBCV and NBCV2 (spreadsheet)data to be exportable displayed in the TRADE DOM columns or label column or general purpose column. just like recent and current volume, (bids asks) TY, LG |

This does work. But the premise is that the data is within the range of the prices displayed in the DOM. If you are trying to show something like the "Ask Volume Bid Volume Difference", then this will not work, as those values are not within the range of the prices displayed on the DOM.
