My SC charts freezes up every few seconds or so- how do I fix this?

Things I've tried:
> Restart PC and SC: issue persists
> Thought it was my chartbook issue, created a new intraday chart; issue still persists.

Extra info:
> I use the same chartbook for NQ futures in another instance- that instance runs smoothly with no jerking, so not PC issue.
> Issue occurs only with main instance of SC.
> Chartbook was working smoothly yesterday; there were no settings/configs/changes introduced. Issue just popped up suddenly today.
> Occurs with all charts in my chartbook

Attached screen recording of how the jerkiness looks like on:
1: my chartbook > https://youtu.be/GjpKDRGi3h4
2: a new intraday chart > https://youtu.be/BZIKwBGH-qY
Choice of crosshair view to better display the freeze (chart momentarily becomes unresponsive); crosshair view works fine on the other NQ instance so am certain it is not crosshair view issue.

The general things to go through are at the following link:
High CPU Usage | Inactive User Interface | Poor Performance | Long Time to Load Chart Data | Charts Reloading Often

One of the particular items we are curious about is what kind of graphics card do you have in your computer and do you have the option for "Global Settings >> Graphics Settings >> Other >> Use OpenGL for Chart Graphics" enabled or not?

Thanks for the link; have implemented some changes to further improve performance.

Somehow the issue went away in yesterday's trading session- will monitor again if it recurs.

FYI Graphics card
- Nvidia GTX 1650, with up to date driver version 536.67.
- Intel(R) UHD graphics, driver 27.20.100.9365
Default GPU used is probably with Intel graphics as I have not set SC to run with the Nvidia card.

OpenGL is set to default unchecked for option "Use OpenGL for Chart Graphics".

Sierra Chart does not use a specific Graphics Card. That is determined by how your system is setup. Given what you state, your system should be using the NVidia card, in which case we recommend enabling the option for "Use OpenGL for Chart Graphics". You will have to restart Sierra Chart after you make this change.
