Hi.

I am receiving this error on both MES and MCL futures (long or short):

CLM3.NYMEX/MCLM3.NYMEX [CV][M] 30 Sec #5 | User order entry | Unable to Flatten/Reverse. There are working Market orders that will flatten the Position. Working non-market orders will be canceled | Symbol: MCLM3.NYMEX | TradeAccount: APEX-50XXX | 2023-04-20 10:02:16.155 *

ESM3.CME/MESM3.CME [CV][M] 5 Min #1 | User order entry | Unable to Flatten/Reverse. There are working Market orders that will flatten the Position. Working non-market orders will be canceled | Symbol: MESM3.CME | TradeAccount: APEX-50XXX | 2023-04-20 10:23:35.577 *

It opens the order, but immediately flattens it, booking a small loss in the account. I'm entering an order with attached stop and target (Bracket). I've tried both enter on a limit order or a market order.

I have several ACSIL autotrading systems working fine within the same SC instance and account. They are only opening trades, not monitoring or closing trades not initiated by the study.

What could be the problem?

Update: I tried removing the micro contract as trading symbol, and trade the mini directly. That works fine. So it seems there is an issue with using the data for the mini-contracts, while using the micros for trading (in chart settings, under symbol).

This is what the Flatten operation will do. Submit a market order and immediately flatten the position. We do not know what the problem is you are having.

We could guess that the problem is that one of the market orders is not being responded to by Rithmic?

No there should not be a problem with this on the Sierra Chart side:

However the fact that there is less liquidity in the micro contracts could be an issue.

I am trying to open a new position (not flatten it). If i click the "SELL MKT"-button, it will open the position for 0.5 seconds and then flatten it (closing the trade for a 1 tick loss). I'm not trying to flatten anything.

I don't have this problem with entering trades through ACSIL strategies trading the same symbol (micros). That's why I ask where I could start troubleshooting?

You need to locate the order that is flattening the position and determine its origin:
