2 Flex Renko charts that I have been using for more than 5 years
One chart is 48-49-1
One is 25-24-1
Correct time is 11:28:35 EDT
The 48-49-1 charts timeline shows time as 9:52
The 25-24-1 shows the correct time
Help please

Make the 48-49-1 chart active and select Chart >> Chart Settings and go to the Session Times page. What is the Time Zone setting set to?

Also, are you getting data in that chart, or is it just stopped at 09:52?

If you are still having an issue with the one chart, then please give us a screenshot of the chart by following these instructions:
Support Board Posting Information: Attaching or Posting a Screenshot/Image (Optional)

Also, are you not getting any updates in that chart? Has it done anything since you first posted, or is it just stopped at the same date/time?

I think the problem occurs when there is low trading volume.
I installed the Real Time Clock on a different 15 minute chart. On this chart the time line stays in sync with the real time clock.
But the Renko charts time line display is off
Currently it is 10:01 AM ET and the Renko show 08:56 and 09:46.
Hope this helps
Thanks

If you are looking at a low trading volume instrument, then this could definitely be the case. Sierra Chart does not update the chart unless there is a trade that occurred. So if there were no trades from 08:56 until the current time, then nothing would be updating.

Are the Micro and Mini ES considered low volume instruments?
Maybe the Renko charts design needs a bit of a tweak to improve timeline accuracy?
Thanks for your help

The Micro and Mini ES are definitely NOT low volume. They have fairly constant trading. So you should not be seeing that kind of delay.

But, now that we think of it, we are wondering if you are really seeing a delay, or is it just that the beginning time of the bar was longer ago than expected (but it is taking time to build the bar).

You would have to create a new chart that is time-based to see if you are getting the data.

Thanks for your reply
On my 15 minute chart (same for the as the Renkos) I have the real time clock installed. Real Time shows 13:08
The last two timeline times are 0715 and 15:15
Makes me want to start drinking LOL

Can you please give us images of what you are seeing by following these instructions:

And with your 15 minute chart, is it keeping up with the real-time, or it having issues as well?

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you
My analysis:
Mt chart book has 2 Flex Renko charts and tow Time-based charts - a 15 and 60 minute
The 15 minute includes the Real Time Clock
None of the charts time lines display the current time as displayed on the real time clock
The current real time is 0832 EDT
The 15 minute chart shows 0845
The Renkos show 08:20:55 and 09:02:56
It seems that the chat times are somehow calculated and not the real time
If you want to see this you are invited to log into my PC in the afternoon after 2 PM EDT
Best regards
