My Orders disappear

every time I take a position my orders disappear a few seconds later and are not taken into account even if the price crosses them, and when I try to take up a position I can't, I have this error in the file log: Trading server did not acknowledge new orderrs , how can i solve this and take positions easily , thanks I use a sierre account linked to my IB broker, and a denali feed. thank you |

We do not know why you are getting this from Interactive Brokers. You need to ask them about it. But, a few items for thought - is that the correct symbol for IB (they typically have a very complex symbol) and are you setup to trade CFDs with IB (we do not know if they support this or not, just something to consider)? in my configurations on sierra, I did choose IB as the broker, but I subscribed to the denali feeds service, so normally what is displayed is the denali feed

Yes, you are getting the data from us. But, for Futures products, we have a translation setup so you use the IB symbol and we know what data that equates to. For the CFDs, the symbol is not updated for IB. We do not know what the symbol needs to be for IB. Once you know what the symbol should be, then you would enter that in the Trade and Current Quote Symbol and also set the option for Use as Trade Only Symbol to Yes. You cannot trade the FXCM CFD symbols with Interactive Brokers.
