2 Questions:

(1) I'm trying out the relative volume indicator. My goal is to compare on a 15 minute chart the traded volume for the last 21 days compared to today's volume. Is this the right one to use if this is what I'm after? Meaning comparing each 15 minute bar to the last 15 minute bars for the last 21 days to see if were trading high or low volume for the specific period?

The issue I'm having with the current indicator relative volume is it's not showing me any data as on the right side of volume just showing (NaN). I'm using the current setting of:
Period 21 days
Accumulation type: All days
Day session only: Yes
Volume average type: Average volume
VOlume subgrpah to use: Volume
TIme comparisson: 1
Minimum required data: 50
High percentage threshold: 100
>>>
Low percentage threshhold: 100

(2) On the time and sales, is there a possibility to reset the time and sales after x amount of time? Meaning in a situation I want to split up the all the buy orders sent in and sell orders in 2 separate columns or 2 separate time and sales. And they would both have a reset timer of 6 seconds? Meaning after 6 seconds all previous orders which has been sent in gets deleted or hidden and just the data for the last 6 seconds is shown?

It doesn't sound like the Relative Volume study is what you want to use. The Relative Volume study is going to give you a comparison of the volume of a bar against the past bars from the same time. For example, from your Inputs above, if a bar starts at 10:15, then it is going to compare the volume for the past 21 days worth of bars at 10:15.

But, we are not exactly sure what comparison you want to make. Are you only wanting to compare a bar against the single bar prior to it for the past 21 days? Or are you wanting the previous 21 days average volume compared? Or something else. Please give us some additional information so we can point you in the right direction.

Unless the Relative Volume study is what you want to use, just ignore the error you are getting (it is a divide by zero issue somewhere, as NaN stands for "Not a Number".

With regards to the Time and Sales, there is not a way to clear the data automatically. You can do it manually by selecting the "Clear" button at the top of the Time and Sales.

My goal with the first indicator, the volume is to compare the average volume compared to the last 21 other days traded. Getting the information about if today there is relatively high volume for this specific time or not. As high volume days might indicate other things compared to low volume days. My goal is to compare the volume of 15 minutes or 30 minutes candles compared to other days ie compare the average volume of the last 21 days.

I know this is available to investor RT, clearing for time as well. Is this something sierra chart with implement someday as well? I saw some people managed to get this out from sierra chart doing something very complex, but if this would be available here as well that would make things so much easier to implement.

Sorry, but we are still not understanding the exact situation. Are you wanting the average volume from the same time of day (which is what the Relative Volume study does), or are you wanting the full day volume, or the average volume for all bars within the 21 day period? Or something else?

We take in all suggestions, but we can't say when we will ever get to any particular item.

More or less, I want to compare the volume for a given time to the last 21 days. Meaning for example, when I look at the relative volume indicator, I want to see if we are trading relative high volume compared to the last 21 days or low volume at that given time. So for example, during RTH I want to give a glance at a given time, lets say 11.00, to see if we are trading with less or more volume compared to other days. For example, if we are trading at 75% of the normal volume compared to the last 21 days it would indicate somewhat of less participation by traders in this given move.

Is there a way for me to be notified if you were able to get this suggestion implemented?

You should be able to do this, but we are still not certain what volume you want to compare.

Do you want the average volume per day over the past 21 days? The average volume for a specific period of time over the past 21 days (such as the 30 minutes between 10:00 and 10:30)? Or something else.

We need specific information on what you are wanting to see so we can point you in the proper direction.
