Setting up Sierra in new computer

Hi,

I bought a new pc and installed the sierra software with my previous data. When I open the platform the old charts say "downloading historical data" but nothing happened, it took forever and the charts never appeared. any idea how I can fix this? The daily chart and dom worked as normal but the intraday never appeared.

Keep in mind that it can take awhile to redownload the data, particularly if you are using Continuous contracts and if you have a large number of days to load. And, of course, it is also dependent on your Internet connectivity.

The thing to do is to start with a new chart and do not set it to be a Continuous Contract Chart, but just get the initial data loaded and see how long it took. If it does not complete the download, then let us know.

If you do get the data, then open one of your chartbooks and see if you can get the data. You may need to wait awhile.
