Hi,

I'm very interested in becoming a paid subscriber to Sierra Chart.
My current broker is Interactive Brokers (Which I read has lots of problems per the support article on Sierra Chart).

I am unsure of what broker may be the best for my use case. Based on the following key elements, could you suggest one or two you feel may be suitable based on my key needs?
- I day trade and swing trade stocks.
- I manage 10 accounts via a 'Family Advisor' account. One of the huge benefits of IBKR is that I can create 'account groups' and create trades that execute against multiple accounts in a group at once and just allocate the shares purchased or sold against the accounts. So I need a broker that can hold trust accounts, IRA accounts, and taxable accounts and generate trades that fill to an entire 'group'. Plus the ability to create account groups as needed.
- IBKR has pretty good margin rates so I'm looking for a broker with similar or better margin offerings.
- Good order fills with minimal slippage is critical
- Support for complex order types/lots of order types (at least the order types IBKR offers or similar)

I did read about Teton but at least from what I read that is mainly for futures and not really for Nasdaq etc.

Any rough recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much.

For stock trading we just offer Interactive Brokers. So you need to use that.

You will want to use our new release we are going to put out today for Interactive Brokers support. What currently is out with the current version has a problem with the integration to TWS which we are resolving.

Hi,

I will download the latest package today. Thank you.

Could you let me know the best level service package and data feeds I need to subscribe to for stock-only trading? I will sign up today.

Is there a way to display the percent change of stock based on the visual range showing on the chart (when the chart is zoomed in or zoomed out the % changes based on what is visible on the chart)?

Hi,

I just subscribed to Service Package 12 and Denali Nasdaq.

I was unable to look up ETFs such as TQQQ, FNGU, TSLL.
Could you let me know anything else I need to set up or subscribe, or what I need to do to pull up these ETF symbols?
Is there anything else you think I need to subscribe to if I'm only trading stocks?

Thank you.

Hi,

I apologize for the additional message... but I just had a chart for SOUN pulled up and it didnt show the aftermarket data on the chart. Could you let me know what I need to do to fix this?

Since you are using the NASDAQ TotalView exchange, you need to be sure to add the -NQTV suffix to the main symbol. For example - IBM-NQTV.

With regards to SOUN, it sounds like you need to expand your Session Times. Refer to the following:

This, managed advisor accounts, among others like trading all asset classes in all markets around the world from one account, and getting paid the most competitive interest rates on balances are reasons we use IBKR. But we are curious if anyone knows alternative brokers who offer the Advisor managed account functions the way IB does.

Is there any setting that can allow for just entering the ticker alone instead of always adding -NQTV? Since I'm only trading stocks, I'd like to just type in AAPL instead of AAPL-NQTV.

Not in the case of NASDAQ TotalView data. You do have to use -NQTV at the end of the symbol:
