- I manage 10 accounts via a 'Family Advisor' account. One of the huge benefits of IBKR is that I can create 'account groups' and create trades that execute against multiple accounts in a group at once and just allocate the shares purchased or sold against the accounts. So I need a broker that can hold trust accounts, IRA accounts, and taxable accounts and generate trades that fill to an entire 'group'. Plus the ability to create account groups as needed.
This, managed advisor accounts, among others like trading all asset classes in all markets around the world from one account, and getting paid the most competitive interest rates on balances are reasons we use IBKR.
