Hello
I am wanting to purchase a subscription with Sierra Carts.
Questions.
For a simulated paper trading option do I use your data plus exchange fees i.e. indices to trade es,nq,ym, & nymex - cl.
If so for either live or simulated trading with IBKR do I also purchase exchange fees with IBKR.
What is your success with IBKR consistency for the trader?
I also have an Account with Can on Trading and I want to use Sierra Charts do i use your feed plus exchange fees with Cannon or yourself?
I see your exchange fees are more than either broker.
Please explain my best pricing options and integration data feeds with either broker? thank you Andy pratt

One more question? Are you able to trade Indice options like SPX, QQQ, YM options on your platform?

In order to best help you, we need to first understand if you are just wanting to paper trade, or if you will be doing live trading?

If you are just doing paper trading, then you can use our Trading Evaluator Service in combination with our Delayed Streaming data, therefore your costs will be fairly minimal - just the cost for the Sierra Chart software, for which you can be on one of the Base packages.

Thank you for your response.
I have never traded futures so I am worked with a trader and want real time quotes while paper trading and eventually transitioning into live trading. It’s recommended by the trader to be in an advanced program in addition I have integrated Sierra Charts with Interactive Brokers. Integrated Advanced for $46 plus the futures live quotes level 1.
I have purchased exchange fees with IBKR. I have made Global Configurations with both Sierra Charts and IBKR. If you see anything I am doing incorrectly your comments are appreciated.

Finally,
Once both Sierra Charts and my IBKR are configured.
Do I run both platforms simultaneously? Does Sierra Charts load on my IBKR platform or not?
If not when I want to perform a trade on Sierra Charts is the trade reflected on both platforms?
Perhaps you have a tutorial on how this works with SC & IBKR.
Just trying to get the gist of it.
Thanks again

The first thing is to connect your Sierra Chart to your Interactive Brokers account. It sounds like you stated you did this, but our servers are showing that your Current Selected Service is set to SC Data - All Services. Therefore, if you have not already done the following, then please go through the Setup Instructions to connect your Sierra Chart to Interactive Brokers:
Interactive Brokers Trading Service: Setup Instructions

Next, you can get data from either Interactive Brokers or from us (Sierra Chart). We have seen issues with the Interactive Brokers data, and you will see a partial list of what we have seen at the following link:
Interactive Brokers Trading Service: Interactive Brokers Market Data Problems

If you are going to use the Interactive Brokers data, then there is nothing more you need to do. Just be sure you are connected to the TWS software and you should be fine.

If you want to use our Denali Exchange Data Feed instead, then follow the instructions at the following link:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges*

--

You do need to keep the TWS software running on the same computer on which you are running the Sierra Chart software.

When you place a trade in Sierra Chart, it will show in both systems.

Just to confirm I want to connect with 1) Interactive Brokers simply for recording orders only and for Sierra Charts to communicate with IBKR.
I want to use the Sierra Charts Data Feed - Denali & CME/CBOT/NYMEX exchanges
With the NYMEX not sure if I have selected the correct one to trade YM Futures. - Would you be able to check.
I Checked all SC Services now in that as mentioned previously the Interactive Brokers tab is (Not Enabled) comes up. No other option.
Also do I have the correct subscription or is that an issue? Thank you for bearing with me.

Sorry just to correct comment above. NYMEX is to trade CL not YM. Do I need to select Market Depth for Sierra Charts in CME, CBOT and NYMEX to load correctly or what I have selected should that work to trade with? In other words Level 1 should be good. Thank you

I just discovered that although I had funded my Sierra Charts Account and selected Integrated Advanced somehow I had to go through another step for it to be funded. I now see Interactive Brokers and have selected it. I also requested to pay Services Plus but it looks like it is not drawing it from my balance I deposited but wants me to make another transaction on my debit card. How do I get it to withdraw from Bank Balance with SC?

It looks like you are almost there, but there are still a few items to work out.

First, it does not look like you have connected to your Interactive Brokers account. Be sure you do this, otherwise you will not be able to get the real-time data for the CME Group. Again, the instructions to connect are at the following link:
Interactive Brokers Trading Service: Setup Instructions

Second, we see that you activated the following exchanges:
- Full CME Group (CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX) for non-professional Trading accounts
- NYMEX non-professional top-of-book

You did not need to activate the NYMEX non-professional top-of-book, as that is already included with the Full CME Group. We have set that exchange to not renew, but we can not give any refunds, as those funds go to the exchanges and they do not give any refunds.

If you want Market Depth data, then you will need to activate an exchange that includes the Market Depth data. It is your choice on whether this is something you need or not. Right now, you do not have the Market Depth for the exchange you have active.

We are not sure what you are referencing in terms of drawing funds from your account or from your card. We only draw from your account and if you do not have enough funds then we ask that you deposit more funds. But right now, your account is all setup and you have some funds in your Services Surplus, so we do not know what else you would need any funds for at this time.

Thanks for the above. I figured it out I had my global Configurations set properly on my IBKR Paper Trading Account but not my Live Trading Account which I assume take the info from there. Connecting fine now.
I looked at your link on Attaching and Detaching panels on a new window or new instance. I can't seem to lock panels like the DOM or Say three charts together on the same window and saving them without disappearing or staying in place. Would be nice to Move from one place to another by dragging them, sizing them and locking them all in place. I checked the tutorials on this but didn't seem to address this. Help please. head starting to hurt. haha

Sounds like what you want to use are attached Chart and Trading DOM windows. By default charts will be attached. You can attach a Trading DOM through Window >>Attach Chart Window.

Then save your layout as a Chartbook. You can then easily reopen it. Full documentation:
