Hello

Every time I start Sierra Chart this window opens with old messages. What do I have to do so that the window is no longer displayed. I couldn't find anything about it in the manual. Even if I check the box at the bottom left, it comes back.

It looks like it is related to your support tickets. Restart Sierra Chart and see at the top if it still indicates there are updated Account Support Tickets.

It still shows the same window with always the same old messages. I opened all my posts but the messages are still showing up again. I open three Sierra Chart copies and have to confirm the message window three times. How can this be changed?

The main thing to do is to select the option at the bottom left that states "Do not show this again". Then select the Close button to close the message window. You should not get a new message window unless there is something new to show you.

But, note that the image you showed has a notification of a new update to an Account Support Ticket. New posts to the Account Support Board will also cause the window to show again.

Yes, but the problem is: If a new message is added, the old messages are also displayed again. That's the mistake. They should no longer be displayed. Why are the old messages showing up?

Yes this will be the case:
the old messages are also displayed again.
Those are fixed messages which do not go away. However, once you check off the box "Do not show this again," and there are no new messages after that, you will not see them again. However, once there is something changed with the message display, all of the messages will show.

I know that I can tick the box. But when the next message comes, these old messages are also displayed. WHY? WHY don't these messages go away? It's always confusing. So I can be glad that there are only two reports and not twenty.
Why is there no person from Sierra Chart who can do proper programming.
Maybe Sierra Chart should work on improving their service. One reads and hears many negative things about Sierra Chart from other users. This is out of time.

This is how it is designed. Those messages will not go away. They are not supposed to go away.


This is a completely false statement:
