Hello, how to add Chart DOM horizontal lines (make them visible) but without making a grid visible on the charts? I know it's very simple because I did it recently by accident when I was customizing the chart DOM but now, I can't find it for hours. Interesting that many people in the past had the same problem but I can't find the right answer. Please see the photo. |

There is not a way to show the grid on just the DOM without it showing across the entire chart. The only way that we can think of to make it look this way would be to change the backgrounds of the various parts of the DOM and the grid such that the grid will be the same as the background in the main chart area, but then will show in the DOM since they will have different background coloring. But why am I now getting them on the Chart DOM even after I do Chart>Horizontal Grid>All Regions. Grid lines color is darker than Chart DOM background so they should be visible though I still don't see it? Please see another screenshot/attachment below. |

What you are seeing in these more recent posts is the opposite of your original post that showed the Trading DOM. You can display the grid on the Chart without it showing on the DOM. And you have found the setting that then allows you to display the grid into the DOM. Additionally, as you are seeing, when you do so, the grid shifts in order to not write through the prices, but rather between them. Refer to the information for this here: Global Trade Settings Windows: Extend Chart Horizontal Grid onto Chart DOM (Global Settings >> Chart DOM Settings >> Other >> Other Settings) But, as originally stated, there is not a way to show the grid only in the DOM and not in the rest of the chart.
