There are two things that you need to do for real-time data.: 1. You need to connect to your trading account to authorize the real-time data: Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Connecting Only Once a Month to Trading Account to Support CME Group Exchange Fees 2. You need to activate the exchange that you require here: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=DenaliDataFeed Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. I did activate my exchange data in the past, is there a way to automatically pay for the real time exchange data? I'm just using Sierra Charts for real time charting while executing on a different platform. So do I add more than $46.00 so like $49.25 a month instead?? Date Time Of Last Edit: 2022-12-17 05:07:35

We see that you have activated the CME Non-Professional Top-of-Book exchange. But in order to get the data from the CME group at the non-professional rate, you still need to connect your Sierra Chart to your active, funded, futures trading account. Refer to the information here: Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges And if you are not going to stay connected to your trading account, then follow these instructions: Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Connecting Only Once a Month to Trading Account to Support CME Group Exchange Fees If you tell us what trading service you are using, then we can point to the proper instructions to connect to that service. With regards to the fees, just keep in mind that the Exchange Fees renew on the first day of each month, whereas your Sierra Chart fees are due on the date from when you last activated the system. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Ive been reviewing the documentation for an hour and I still don't understand what I'm doing wrong.Sierra pushed me away from CQG and advocated for Denali real time data, except its not real time, I have a 10 min delay. I just want to use sierra charts for charting not trade execution, but my charts need to display real time. Sierra has been around for a long time, I don't understand why theres so many hurdles and hacks to make this platform work?

The issue is that you have activated a Non-Professional exchange for the CME Group. The CME Group has a requirement that in order to qualify for the Non-Professional exchange fees, you need to have a live, funded, futures trading account. We verify that you have a live, funded, futures trading account by having you connect to that account at least once a month. You have not done this yet, therefore you are not "qualified" as far as the CME Group is concerned. If you have a live, funded, futures trading account that uses CQG, then follow the instructions at the following link to connect your Sierra Chart to that CQG account: CQG Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
