Hi, I've been trying to get a chartbook with 5 minute chart for REPLAYS with all data from 2020 to now. But I've not been able to load more than 120-180 days on chart Chart only has price in HLC bars and volume study I'm using SC pack 10 with Denali (CQG order routing only from AMP Futures) In Data/Trade Service Settings i've selected : -
- Current Selected Service = CQG WebApi [Trading] Intraday Data Storage Time Unit = 1 Tick - Non-Tick data = 1095 - 1-Tick data = 1095 - Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds = YES In chart Settings : Continuous Contract (List) = Continuous Futures Contract - Volume Based Rollover Chart Type = Intraday ( 5 minute ) Data Limiting Date Range and Limiting Method >> Date Range in File From / To Chart Data Type = Intraday Chart Load Data limiting Method = Use Number of Days To Load Days to Load for Intraday Chart Data Type = 2020-01-01 Days to Load for Historical Chart Data Type = 2022-12-14 Since I was forced to switch to Denali and SC pack 10, the loading of charts has become much slower (for the 4 charts I already had of 5 minutes (10 days of loading) and 4 historical charts on a daily basis. And according to your support, Denali was much better than CQG ... but it doesn't seem so to me. |

You need to set this setting to 1100: Days to Load for Intraday Chart Data Type Do not use a date. If there still is missing data, then follow the instructions here: Continuous Futures Contract Charts: Re-Downloading Continuous Futures Contract Data There is a reason for this: Since I was forced to switch to Denali and SC pack 10, the loading of charts has become much slower (for the 4 charts I already had of 5 minutes (10 days of loading) and 4 historical charts on a daily basis. And according to your support, Denali was much better than CQG ... but it doesn't seem so to me. It is explained in the last paragraph in this subsection: High CPU Usage | Inactive User Interface | Poor Performance | Long Time to Load Chart Data | Charts Reloading Often: 30.12 - Intraday Data Storage Time Unit. Historical Data Record Time Frame. In the case of CQG historical data (provided by CQG), since Sierra Chart has only supported 1 minute data, or limited amount of tick by tick data from CQG, this is why when using CQG data, charts will load faster. Since there is less, a lot less, tick by tick data. You can solve this problem by using an Intraday Data Storage Time Unit of 1 Second or 2 Seconds or higher.
