The volumes for each price level in my Recent Bid Volume and Recent Ask Volume columns are always being displayed jumbled on top of each other making it very difficult to distinguish which volume is associated with each price. Is there a way I can configure the system so that the volumes at each associated price level can be clearly read? I have attached an image below. I appreciate any help!

If you are still having this issue then we need to know the symbol for the chart.

The symbol is $DOWI. I don't currently see any real-time data. I just activated the Integrated Standard Sierra Chart service package for the first time since my trial ended. Is there anything specific I should do to see the data now? |

The reason the numbers are on top of each other is that the Tick Size and the Price Display Format are not correct. They need to be set to 0.01 for both of them. These settings can be found on Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol. Refer to the documentation for these settings here: Chart Settings: Price Display Format (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol Settings menu) You are setup to get the real-time data for that symbol, as you are subscribed to the Dow Jones Indices. If you are still not getting real-time data for the symbol then please get us your Message Log by following these instructions: Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log: Message Log: Clearing the Message Log Open a chart for the symbol you have an issue with. Tell us that symbol of the chart. Disconnect from the data feed with "File >> Disconnect". Connect to the data feed with "File >> Connect to Data Feed". After the connection and after about 10 seconds, provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions: Support Board Posting Information: How to Post Your Message Log (Required In Some Cases) We will then determine what the problem is. Thank you so much. Changing the tick size has made a dramatic difference! Now, is there a way to configure the volume settings so that they only show within the corresponding level and not bleeding into the level above? I have attached an image. Thanks again for your help! |

I removed the grid as a fix for the issue I mentioned above. Moreover, It appears like some data is missing when I change both the price and tick size to .01. In comparison, When I change the price to .01 and the tick to .1 it looks like more data is apparent. Why is that? |

There should not be any difference in the data regardless of how you have your Tick Size and Price Display. It's just a matter of allowing the data to show properly instead of being on top of each other. In terms of missing data, it is what it is and we can not say why it shows the way it does. Another option in terms of displaying the Market Depth data is to change the Chart >> Chart Settings >> Market Depth >> Market Depth Combine Increment in Ticks. Refer to the information here: Chart Settings: Market Depth Combine Increment in Ticks (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Market Depth menu) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
