i use multiple prop firms, and would like to open 2 different instances of sierra at the same time... 1 with apex, 1 with earnmax. each company has provided a unique rithmic data feed login, and they work perfectly as long as i only open 1 sierra platform. when i try to open a second one, it's always frozen and does nothing. is this because despite being unique, they're both through rithmic? if not, what am i missing? also- i pay for package 11 and non-pro cme data.... but is denali data required if i'm plugged into rithmic feed via the prop firm's supplied rithmic data login? |

In terms of the Sierra Chart setup, what you have done is the way to do what you want. You would need to ask Rithmic about the issue you are having. We really do not know how they handle this issue. We would have thought that having the separate logins would not be an issue, but perhaps they are doing some test on the IP Address and not allowing multiple connections to the same IP. Dear support , Please help us add below feature to Sierra Charts where we can have multiple prop firm connection under one installation of Sierra Charts . like .. Apex, Bulenox, on rithimic Topstep, Tradovate on CQG others like Ironbeam on Teton then be able have an order-allocation / trade-copier across all. I don’t want to buy any 3rd party tool like replicanto that does above task . Unless Sierra Chart acquires this company Replicanto and integrate it with our platform 😉 that would be great 👍 Thabk you Manish Barbhaya Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-02-01 02:35:06

One thing you can be assured of is there a 0% chance of this coming. There is too much associated complexity with this.

Dear support , Please help us forward this request to our development team at Sierra Charts . Can our developer build some type of a transmitter/receiver type of “Local Order Allocation”, that allows to copy our orders (entry/exit/flatten) from a “transmitter study chart” from one installation and position trade in real-time across multiple other “receiver Study chart” installations/chart on our local machine. This will help us make it simple to place trade with just one hit on main installation of Transmiter chart/study and then all other multiple installations of SierraCharts receiver chart/study will pickup & place the trade/order allocation. Thank you for this wonderful platform and all the help that we have been receiving consistently from you Have a wonderful day my-friend Manish Barbhaya Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-05-27 10:19:03

They possibly can do this, but it is not something we can help with. Have them look at: Automated Trading From an Advanced Custom Study Maybe they could write the order signals to a text file which can be read by other instances of Sierra Chart. So the text file could be the method of communication between the instances of Sierra Chart. But they would have to work out all of the implementation details. It is not something we would ever add where Sierra Chart will copy trades across instances of Sierra Chart. It is too complicated.
