Hi, I got a notice this morning that my balance for Denali feed is low and need to be refilled. I immediately paid it but not seeing live data coming thru. Please help. |

We see the following in your log: HD Request # 12 | Error downloading historical Intraday data for ESZ22-CME. Error: invalid symbol
The only thing we can think is that there is a bad character in the field somehow that is not showing. Please go to Chart #10 and select Chart >> Chart Settings and go to the Symbol tab if not already selected. Then re-enter the symbol in the Symbol field (enter 'ESZ22-CME' (no quotes)). I would also like to add that I noticed that when I change my data feed to interactive broker I am getting live data but when i switch back to SC data all services, it does not pull any data. I don't know if that will help. Thanks |

To select a specific chart by the number, select the CW menu and find the chart in there. It lists the name and number in the list. You should be getting live data for all charts except for the ones that have ESZ22-CME for the symbol. We just noticed this is charts 5, 9, and 10. Actually your getting real-time data when you connect to IB is even more confusing. Did you change your symbols for that service? Thanks for your response. I updated the symbol setting and it appears to have solved the problem. However, i noticed that the few charts have very small fonts and not readable and rest are readable. I don't know how to correct it. As i am new to Sierra chart, I am sometimes overwhelmed by the sheer features that your platform provides. I will really appreciate if you can log in remotely and make the changes. Appreciated your help! |

The first thing to understand is that there are Global Graphics Settings and there are Chart Specific Graphics Settings. A Chart, by default, is set to use the Global Graphics Settings. If you want to have a chart be different than the global settings, then you need to go to Chart >> Graphics Settings - Chart and deselect the option at the top that states Use Global Graphics Settings Instead of These Settings. Refer to the following: Graphics Settings: Using Different Color and Graphics Settings for Specific Charts We mention the above, as it sounds like you have certain charts that are not using the Global Graphics Settings. The fastest way to solve the issue for those charts is to select the chart and then open Chart >> Graphics Settings - Chart and enable the option for Use Global Graphics Settings Instead of These Settings. The other option is to modify each chart by selecting it and then selecting Chart >> Graphics Settings - Chart and selecting the Font tab and then modifying the appropriate font for the item that needs to be adjusted.
