Hello, thanks for all your support thus far. I attempted to remove all previously applied POC extension lines on a chart by selecting 'Ignore' & Apply, OK, on the relevant Studies Numbers Bars submenu, but to no effect. I tried closing and reopening Sierra Chart to see if the changes would take place but unfortunately not. So I'm a bit at a loss for how to remove the redundant POC extended lines, and would be grateful if you can suggest a solution.

Please view the attached screen shot that shows the correctly selected commands.

Many thanks

Graham Denney

In this case the Subgraph for the Extension Lines just set the style and color of the line, it does not control whether they are shown or not.

You need to turn off the Extension Lines from the Numbers Bars Inputs. In particular, the following:
Numbers Bars: Highlight Point Of Control In
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:

Ok . . . having done some more investigation, it would appear that Service Package 10, does not support Numbers Bars, which would explain why all my carefully constructed configurations have flown out of the window. Clearly, I need Service Package 11 and pay an additional amount to cover the difference. The question is, John, if I select an upgrade to Service Package 11, will the payment system automatically work out and charge the difference or will it take the full amount 3 x $46 = $138? Or can I calculate and enter the difference when making the payment for the additional sum required to upgrade, that is 3 x $10 = $30 and assume that the accounts system will understand the transaction?

Perhaps this scenario needs to be referred to accounts. But meanwhile, if the additional upgrade payment is not within your brief, John, can you kindly tell if I will lose all my chart settings and have to reconfigure all my charts from scratch?

All the best

G

When you change your package the system does not charge you anything. We just adjust your Usage Time based on the difference in the prices of the packages. You can change your package at the following link:
https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ServicesActivation#ServicePackage

From what we are seeing, you are using our Delayed Streaming Data and you are not connecting to a trading service. If this is correct, then you can be on Package 5 to get the Numbers Bars with the Delayed Streaming Data.

Back to your original question - changing the Subgraph settings in the Numbers Bars for the POC is NOT the same as turning it off in the Inputs. The Subgraph settings in this particular case, only control the color and size of the line. It does not have any impact on anything other than those two items.

Yes, thanks John, that will work for now while I'm about to start practicing Trade Simulation with the Trade Window. How do I downgrade from Service Package 10 to 5? Is that something you can do for me and credit my account for when I need to upgrade to Service Package 11?

Can you tell me where the 'inputs' for the Extend POC Lines is to be found, please?

By the way, thanks for the quick response, John. Brilliant service;-)

Cheers

Graham

We have changed your package to Package 5. Your Usage Time remains the same as Package 5 and Package 10 are the same price.

Please exit from Sierra Chart and start again to ensure your system picks up the change in the package.

Refer to the following for marking the POC on a Numbers Bars study:
