Hello! I noticed a discrepancy between the DOM information on the VX tool during backtesting and live trading. I trade through AMP and therefore turn it on during trading in the WEB Api settings. And also the Support SC Data function is always connected 1. The results are very different during backtesting with WEB Api or SC All Data enabled. 2. Also, the performance results are different in real trading and backtesting even if the backtesting is with SC All Data. 3. The platform does not allow me to trade with a real trading account if I do not enable the WEB Api. Does this mean that I am getting incorrect data? Support SCData is always enabled. How can I achieve the optimal result by receiving data not from CQG, but from SC. SC data suits me better anyway. Maybe there are brokers that allow you to trade directly without switching from SC All data? |

We do not know what you are referring to: VX tool
If you follow the instructions here the market data will come from the Denali Data Feed and not CQG: Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Integration with Trading Services Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Try to keep your questions brief and to the point. I have been using the platform for several years and your advice on setting up is an excuse, unfortunately. If I wrote to you that DepthData does not match, then there is a problem again, because I would not ask you stupid questions about the initial setup of the platform for elementary school. Everything is always on, what your manual advises, and the letter M confirms that the data supposedly should be from Denali. In reality, DepthData is curved and oblique. It remains only to use two platforms. On one, enable SC Data All service and on the other platform WEB API CQG to make transactions based on the visual data of the first one. Automation = space! Historical record DepthData unfortunately your weak link, the same as poor integration with trading services.

We are not sure what you are trying to tell us at this point. But based on your above statements, here are some things to consider. - Sierra Chart is setup to allow you to connect to your trading service and get the data from us. There, you should keep your system connected to your trading service and if you have the Denali feed setup (which you do), then as long as the option for Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feds is set to Yes, then you should be getting the data from our Denali feed. As you note, the [M] symbol means that you are getting the data from us. - The Market Depth data should be the same between two systems that are both getting the data from us. But, in the image you provided, the Intraday Data Storage Time Unit is set to 1 second. This would have to be the same on both systems. Although it would be best to change this to 1 tick on both systems to ensure that you have the data at the finest granularity. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
