Hello guys,
I am trying to setup my $INX chart to show "Intraday chart", Daily candles, in the period 2007-01-01 - Today.
Data limiting settings are setup as:
-Date range in file from ... - 2007-01-01
-Date range in file to ... -2022-10-13
-Chart data type - intraday chart
-Load data limiting method - Use number of days to load
-Days to load for intraday chart - 6000

When I click "OK" it brings back the "Date range in file from" to 2020-03-10.
P.S. I have activated live $INX data

How can I make it working ?
Regards
Petko

What you state you are doing is the correct method. So we are a bit confused as to why it is not working for you. We just did it ourselves to ensure that the data went back that far, and we do have data to November 8, 2010.

When you change the date in the Date Range in File From to 2007-01-1, and then select OK to close that window, do you get a message that states "Do you want to redownload intraday data for the symbol to try and get more data...".

When you get this message, then be sure you select the Yes on that window.

Then the system should give you a blue message that states "Downloading Historical Data. Bars may not appear until done".

It can take a few minutes to download all the data. After which you should get your bars showing.

Please verify that you get these messages and that each of these items show up and then let us know what happened.

Hello,

Yes, that's the same - I select "Yes" on the message and then the blue message on the chart appears.

I tried with the date you provided 2010-11-10 and it worked, but on the second try - I opened the Chart Settings window, while it was loading to check the date wasn't changed and it loaded the whole thing. No logic in that changing anything, but it did happen :D

Thank you for you help!

The date in the Chart Settings does update as data is downloaded, but I do not know the exact frequency. So if you open that, you may or may not see an updated date shown.

In other words, you should not put any reliance on that displayed date until the data is finished downloading.
