Hi! Re: Custom data source: Link .SCID (it works all the time!) with .depth (it only worked once). I'm attempting to display depth files from Data\MarketDepthData\*.depth using the structures described here: Market Depth Data File Format The binary files, including the header, seem to be correct. They grow in size in the folders. They both showed fine on charts. So the server for both price / volume as well as depth are on my computer in the Sierra/Data folders. I’m already writing the .scid ad .depth data simultaneously. SCID price shows in a new chartbook in real time. It is Perfect. But .depth is now always ignored. I iterated through almost every settings combination, but depth only showed once and unfortunately I forgot that settings combination. Please can you tell me how to get the .depth file linked to the chart. Thank you so much. I suspect the trading combination lies somewhere here maybe: When connecting to a service, File -> Data/Trade Server Settings File -> Open market depth window Symbol settings |

One thing to check is Global Settings >> General Settings >> Paths >> Market Depth Data Path and make sure that is set correctly.

We apologize for the delay. Being you are directly writing to the market depth data file, there could be something that is missing that is done internally in Sierra Chart to allow the market depth data to be read. Also check the timestamps in the market depth data file. This is essential they are correct and corresponding to the timestamps in the Intraday data file.
