had to move data to different disc drive and things have changed

because the data folder was taking so much space i had to move it to its own disc drive, but now my automated strategies aren't executing. they're still marking where the trades should be, but they aren't actually taking them. any thoughts on how i can address this?

Having moved the data folder should not have any impact on whether the automated strategies would be sending to the trade service or not.

If you are getting the visual notifications, then the study is working. So it's not a matter of the study being in the wrong place and not being able to be accessed.

What automated strategies are you using? Is this a custom study, or one of the Sierra Chart studies (including the Spreadsheet System for Trading)?

These are custom studies from Polaris Trading Group that I've used for several years.

You would really need to ask the developers of those studies as to why they are acting different.

But, if they have an option on them for "Send Trade Orders to Trading Service", then you would want to make sure that this is set to "No" if you are in Simulation Mode and that it is set to "Yes" when you are trading live.
