Hi, If someone can help me set up a alert on my charts please. I would like for a alert when price crosses over the 4th VWAP band top and bottom. If possible am I able to do it once and apply it to all my chartbooks? Or do I have to go into all of them indivually? Can I get the alert to my phone instantly when this happens Can? Can I set the alert for when the price cross these bands by a certain amount of Pips? Sorry for the of questions.

The general way to setup the alert you want would be the following: =OR(C > ID1.SG1, C < ID1.SG2) Where ID1 is the ID of the VWAP study and SG1/SG2 is the Top/Bottom VWAP band subgraphs. You will have to enter the proper numbers for your particular setup when you create the alert. Refer to the following: Study/Chart Alerts And Scanning: Referencing Study Subgraphs Also, 'C' is the Close, or last price, so for the current bar, this is the current price. -- You will have to apply the alert to all your chartbooks individually. If you are putting the Alert itself on a particular study, then you could use a Study Collection to make the application to other charts a bit easier. Refer to the following: Study Collections -- You can get Email, Twitter, or SMS texts from alerts (there is an extra cost for SMS texts). Refer to the information at the following link and the section below it: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/GeneralSettings.html#EmailNotifications -- To set the alert when the price is a certain amount away, you would just add the amount to the Subgraph reference in the alert. Like the following: =OR(C > ID1.SG1 + .5, C < ID1.SG2 - .5) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
