Hey,

Is it possible to update from package 5 to package 11 and pay only the difference between them? From what I saw, after updating to package 11 it was possible to pay only 220$ for the package 11 and not pay the difference between package 5 and package 11 (about 42$)

Thanks,
Shimshon

Yes following the instructions below. We can see that you are currently using Service Package 11. We can put your account back on Service Package 5 and give you free access to the Service Package 12 for 60 days.

So you do not have to pay for a higher package for 60 days.

Let us know if you want us to do that.

To change your Sierra Chart Service Package, select "Help >> Account Control Panel" on the Sierra Chart program menu. On the displayed webpage, click on the "Set Service Package for Renewal" link.

Or go to this page:
https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ServicesActivation

You will need to login if you are not currently logged in.

In the "Available Services >> Choose Usage Time Service Package" frame, select the Service Package that you want to set your account to. Press the "Set" button.

The remaining service usage time on your account will be adjusted based upon the cost of the package you are changing to. If the new package is a higher-priced package, then the usage time will be reduced due to the higher price.

There is no charge for changing your Sierra Chart service package. Only your Sierra Chart account usage time ending date is adjusted.

When changing between Sierra Chart Service Packages, the usage time ending date on your Sierra Chart account is adjusted based upon the price differences between the package you are changing from and the package you are changing to.

When changing to a higher priced package, your usage time ending date will be brought back closer in time. When changing to a lower-priced package, your usage time ending date will be brought forward further out in time.

Hey,

Thank you very much, this sounds like an interesting possibility. What will be the consequences if I choose to receive the package 12 for free for 60 days? Will I have to stay in this package later?

No there is no consequence. After 60 days the account reverts back to the current Service Package which would be 5 if we change it to 5 now.

That sounds really great. Just want to make sure I understood correctly, after 60 days of having the free package 12, package 5 I purchased will come back and the balance of my account will still be $ 178 (which I have already paid for package 5). And when that happens (in 60 days from today) if I want to improve package 5 to package 11, I can add the difference ($ 42) according to the instructions you sent me here at the beginning of the conversation. did I understand correctly?

This is partially correct.

package 5 I purchased will come back and the balance of my account will still be $ 178 (which I have already paid for package 5).
What actually happens is that you continue to pay at Service Package 5 during those 60 days but you do have access to Service Package 12.

We went ahead and implemented free access to package 12 for 60 days.

Got it, thanks a lot. After the 60 days of package 12 are over, can I update to package 11 in exactly the same way you told me at the beginning of the conversation?
